Wendy Booker is a favorite guest of one East Boston elementary school. She has become an inspiration to the students she regularly visits. Or, maybe it’s the other way around.

Booker’s goal is to climb the tallest mountain on every continent. That’s a lofty target for the fittest of athletes. And it certainly seems out of reach for Booker. She suffers from multiple sclerosis.

But, believe it or not, she’s well on her way. She’s climbed five of her target mountains. And she couldn’t have done it without her favorite class cheering her on.
