What do you think Soviet soldiers did in their free time? Shine their shoes? Clean their rifles? Have a dance off? Huh? Yep, and they were pretty good, too.

This video shows two teams of Soviet soldiers competing with dance. They jump, spin and do kazotskys (squat-kicks). It’s some seriously physical dancing. It’s both humorous and impressive at the same time.

It reminds me of break dancing. And that makes sense with the video’s choice of music. The song is called It’s like that by Run DMC. The original music video featured two teams of break dancers squaring off. I think I may like the Russians better!
