Remember Cingular? It formerly was known as AT&T Wireless. And now, it’s called AT&T.

So, AT&T acquired Cingular, right? Well, yes and no. Ol’ Ma Bell has a convoluted history. It includes breakups, buyouts and a bunch of companies.

This is confusing. What we need is a chart. And Steven Colbert of the Colbert Report has one. Of course, he’s hilarious.
