Pixar has made some of the best animated movies in recent memory. If you have kids, you’ve probably seen all of them. But did you know Pixar makes short films as well? This Video of the Day features one of the funniest shorts. It’s called Lifted.

This film features a young alien tasked with abducting a sleeping farmer. Only the young alien doesn’t exactly know what he’s doing. This might remind you of your first driving test. It’s hysterical!

Lifted was released in theaters to accompany Pixar’s recent movie Ratatouille. A seven-time Academy Award-winning sound editor directed this short. Sound plays a big role in this short’s comedic timing. Lifted is so good it was nominated for an Academy Award in 2007.
