If you’re an animal lover, this YouTube video will touch you. There are thousands of animals in shelters around the country. All are looking for a home. But many won’t find one. Many will be put down.

Lynea Lattanzio has found a different way. She owns the Cat House on the Kings. It’s an animal shelter run out of her home. There are no cages on the property. The residents are free to roam in and out of her house. And they sure need the space.

Lattanzio currently feeds, houses and cares for more than 700 cats. Over the past 16 years, she’s cared for more than 16,000! Check out her story in this Video of the Day.
