This YouTube video is a blast from the past. Taking a flight today isn’t much fun. You have to show up early to beat the crowds. You must remove your shoes to get through security. And then you pack into seats with no legroom.
It’s tough to remember, but flying used to be glamorous. This video is a promo from 1958 for Pan American. It shows a different era in flight. There were gourmet meals, giant bathrooms and smoking. And what I wouldn’t give for that kind of legroom!
