This YouTube video shows an often-ignored side of law enforcement, that is, people who truly want to help. Many people either fear or distrust the police. They usually make the news only when mistakes are made. The LAPD has an especially poor reputation.

But few people seem to notice when officers are doing the right thing. This video, though simple, is a nice contrast to the LAPD’s reputation.
