This YouTube video is all about people joining for a common cause. Every town needs a mascot. For many it’s a sports team. Others have historical figures. One town in Alabama has a cat.

The cat’s name is Sammy. For years, Sammy lived and lounged at the local post office. But, as was bound to happen, someone complained. And Sammy was forced out. But the locals are having none of it. You’ll get a kick out of seeing them rally behind a cat.
