This CBS video showcases a strange and interesting conflict. People all over the country are fighting their neighbors. What could make people in tight-knit communities turn on one another? Would you believe it’s wet underwear?

Communities across the country have banned clotheslines. They’re thought of as eyesores. But some people are demanding the “right to dry.” In fact, it’s become a national movement. CBS even caught a rally in front of the Vermont capital building.

Now, this certainly isn’t high on the list of pressing social issues. But clothesline proponents are very passionate. Their opposition gets pretty fired up too. Who is right? Or do both sides need to get a life? I’ll let you decide.
