Many DVDs include a few special features. One of my favorites is the blooper reel. There’s something about watching big name actors mess up. They flub their lines and miss their marks. It’s just plain funny.

But filmmakers didn’t always make a point of saving bloopers. That’s what makes this collection so cool. Warner Brothers put it together in 1936. It includes some of Hollywood’s greats, like Humphrey Bogart, James Cagney and Bette Davis. Oh, yes, they slipped up from time to time.

(They didn’t curse in the movies then. But they cursed plenty when they blew their lines. Watch it before showing it to the kids.)
