GINA concept car

BMW recently unveiled a new concept car called the GINA Light Visionary Model. At first, it looks like any car on the road today. But then its body shifts.
GINA’s designers asked, “What do we need the skin of a car for?” So, they replaced the traditionally metal skin with fabric. They stretched a Spandex-based skin over a metal skeleton. The skeleton can move beneath the fabric, changing the car’s shape.
It’s an amazing idea you have to see to understand. This Video of the Day will show you the philosophy behind GINA. Unfortunately, you won’t see this on road any time soon.
